Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is a university located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan, India. The university was established in 2005. Formerly it was Engineering College, Kota. The university is located on Kota-Rawatbhata Road, about 10 km from Kota Bus Stand and 14 km from Kota Railway Station. Presently university affiliates about 77 Engineering Colleges, 08 M.Tech Colleges, 28 MCA Colleges, more than 90 MBA Colleges and 03 Hotel Management and Catering Institute. The University was established in 2005 to enhance technical education in the Indian state of Rajasthan by the Rajasthan State Government. It is located in the city of Kota, which is approximately 500 km from New Delhi.
